Lake Natoma beach is a perfect spot to cool down during these hot summer days. Take the littles for a sandy beach experience and enjoy a dip in the cool water. The advantage of this spot is that you can pull up your car right next to the beach and unload all your beach goodies and kidz! Goodbye dragging your stuff for miles in the heat while the kids are running a muck, we've all been there!:) I definitely recommend going during the week, weekends can get really busy. If you do go on the weekend, make sure you arrive early, parking is usually full by 11 a.m.
The entrance to the parking lot is $10 for a day pass or if you have a poppy pass you can have access all year long to state parks in California. I highly recommend purchasing this if you like outdoor activities and want to explore all the regional parks, there are a lot to explore!
Whip out those paddle boards, kayaks, picnic food, beer/wine…..It’s a guaranteed fun outing all the family will enjoy!
